2024 Green Acres Chardonnay

These grapes were farmed by the Sangiacomo family at the Green Acres vineyard and hand harvested on 8/29/2024. The fruit was fermented and barrel aged for 10 months before bottling.

Bright straw-gold in the glass, the 2024 Green Acres Vineyard Chardonnay opens with lifted aromas of ripe Golden Delicious apple, white peach, and pear, layered with lemon blossom, toasted almond, and a hint of vanilla bean. On the palate it’s medium-bodied and lively, driven by crisp acidity and fine-grained texture. Flavors of citrus zest, orchard fruit, and subtle baked apple mingle with gently integrated oak and a touch of butterscotch, finishing clean, slightly saline, and persistent.

Vineyard: sustainably farmed cool-climate site with morning fog and well-drained loam soils, yielding grapes with concentrated fruit and bright acidity.
