2023 Sasaki Pinot Noir

The grapes in this wine were hand-harvested at the Sasaki Vineyard and hand-sorted on 10/10/2023. The fruit was fermented in an open top tank and barrel aged for 15 months before bottling. 

This lush and full-bodied Pinot Noir showcases the rich potential of organic farming and expert winemaking. Deep garnet in the glass, it reveals an opulent bouquet of ripe plum, blackberry compote, and dark cherry, layered with hints of vanilla, warm baking spices, and a touch of smoky oak.

On the palate, this wine is richly textured and voluptuous, with concentrated flavors of juicy blackberry and purple plum taking center stage, supported by notes of black tea, cedar, and subtle earthiness. The generous mouthfeel and velvety tannins create an indulgent drinking experience while maintaining the varietal's characteristic elegance.
